Art with a Heart

Manasa Rehabilitation Center (MRC) is a non-government organisation based out of Pamboor in the Udupi District. MRC works with children who are disabled and provides them with the basic facilities necessary for them to lead a life of dignity. These services range from physical rehabilitation, speech and occupational therapy and educational services. Recently MRC has also initiated a vocational rehabilitation center that trains youth with disabilities in specific skills such as IT skills, craft-making and job-ability skills to allow them to earn a livelihood with dignity and respect. MRC is run by a evangelical institution and has a team of highly motivated and trained teachers and therapists who excel at individual attention and motivation of all the students at the center. MRC has also recently started a Autism Research Center which aims at finding holistic solutions for parents and children living with autism. MRC actively works with local schools, parents and policy makers to make sure that the stakeholders are all involved in an all-round development of children and youth with disabilities.

Purple Space a Kid’s Library and Learning Lounge will be initiating the process of making upcycle craft with kids.
The products will be priced and sold to raise funds for setting up a small Library for Kids –Manasa Rehabilitation Center (MRC)
