Event Details: “Break the Silence, Stop the Violence (Tittle )
A. Know your Gandhi
On the auspicious occasion of 150th birth anniversary of the Father of Nation, Chhanv Foundation will host a quiz on Mahatma Gandhi at Sheroes Hangout, Lucknow. Winner of the quiz will get the assured gifts.
B. Black Rose Movement
The Black Rose movement will aim to change the attitude towards the one you hate. The issue of anger, aggression or violence can be expressed safely and a crime can be avoided. The basic principles are apparently based on those of Gandhian philosophy.
The individuals will be offered a letter pad on which they could write their hate feeling for the one they hate and with the letter they could offer a black rose as a symbol for expressing their anger. These letters would be displayed at Sheroes Hangout.
2. Beauty Workshop for Acid Attack Survivors
Beauty workshop for the acid attack survivors will be organised at the cafe Sheroes Hangout to enhance the makeup skills & to give them pleasure, makeup of survivors will be done followed by providing them a framed photograph.
3. Health Camp
To measure the basic health details (Blood Pressure, Weight, Body Fat Analysing), a health camp will be organised which will involve qualified doctors & nurses. Along with the survivors, It will be open to all the guests & Volunteers.
4. Free Career Counselling & Parenting
Mr. Ajeet Singh will provide the career counselling to the survivors. In this counselling he will guide about the availability of better quality education, awareness, technology. It will be open to other guests as well.
5.Acid Sale & Shoot Acid Campaign
In this campaign, volunteers will visit to different Shops selling the acid, they will check the availability of acid and record the videos.
6.Story Telling & Open Mic
In the open mic survivors will share their Stories & the youth of Lucknow will be given a stage to flaunt their the skills in the form of Poetry, Story Telling, Music or any kind of skill.
7.Legal Aid Workshop on Women Safety
The officials from Law & Order will provide a workshop on women safety to provide the knowledge on the basic rights of women & the safety measures.
8. Feel for a meal
Under this initiative, we will create awareness on the wastage of food & will try to encourage the guests at the cafe to share the food for the unprivileged kids.
