This season of giving, we urge people to spread the joy, by giving back to the community and bringing a smile to as many fellow citizens as possible. Together, we can bring happiness to the lives of many by filling in the gaps of the ever-growing monetary and material needs. We urge everyone to celebrate this festival by giving of Me/Money/Material, to pay back to the world. This is the time for ‘Dil Ki Suno Kuch Karo’(Listen to your heart, do something). Here are some ideas you can choose from:
1. Collection space/drive in your residential area/office/school/colleges. Material collection drives are an easy way for people to give back, and engage young volunteers creatively by organizing theme-based activities. You can campaign for collecting Sarees, cotton clothes, school material, One side used Paper (OSUP), Woolens and general clothing, Utensils, Footwear, Blankets, etc. To organize a drive please register with us here 2. Sponsor a School Kit – We want to reach 20,000 school kits to children in rural India. You can join us by making a Rs 500 contribution for a school kit, to reach need-based school material for one session. To make a contribution, please visit the link – Khushiyon ka Pitara

3. Goonj kee Gullak: Even your small ‘change’ can bring a big change. Goonj Ki Gullak is the piggy bank that stays with you in your own journey and helps develop a habit of giving consistently but comfortably. Once filled, you can contribute online to Goonj from the comfort of your home. This video and link – Goonj Ki Gullak shares more.

4. One Million Cloth Bags (Jhola) for the world: The world needs to get rid of plastic and the first step is each one of us using a cloth bag. This festive season let’s reach out One Million cloth bags to people across India. With a contribution of Rs. 100 you can sponsor a set of three Goonj Ka Jholas for a rural family kit or Gift a Goonj Cloth Bags (Jhola) to family members/friends.
