Rosalyn Carter says “There are only four kinds of people in the world: those who have been caregivers, those who are currently caregivers, those who will be caregivers, and those who will need caregivers.”
This is a universal truth. We are in one way or other all caregivers or need caregivers. But the role of a family caregiver specially for those taking care of chronic or terminal patients remains unacknowledged, unappreciated and sometimes de-prioritized by themselves. Caregiver Saathi aims to empower the caregiver and create a blended learning and support system with a human touch. We are seeking funds to support our three main objectives:
1. Building an online academy for Caregivers and Healthcare professionals to offer them various learning programs.
2. Creating a community of Certified Caregiver Saathi’s to enable respite care program for caregivers.
3. Strengthen our operations to facilitate and sustain the work of our organization and the cause.
