Humare Rakhwale

This is the first year we are participating and are a late entry. Therefore our group decided to keep it simple. Our colony Great Eastern Gardens, is a largish colony of 6 buildings and 400 apartments. It is a rare green oasis in this bustling city. We are serviced by 70 maintenance (cleaners, gardeners, clubhouse maintenance etc.) and security staff (main gates and each of the 6 buildings). Our idea is to generate funds and have a get-together for them on Oct 2. Prior to the date, we will raise funds from residents to sponsor this @Rs 750 per staff member. The event will invite service staff to (a) share their stories if they want to (b) present any entertainment- song, dance, standup etc. There will be free snacks served and each staff member will be gifted a Rs 500 D’Mart voucher. Alongside the event we will also have a collection drive of money for a Rural school (Swapnopuron Shishu Shikshaniketan) and goods for Goonj.
