Educo is a public charitable trust established by Ms. Meenal Srinivasan in 2009. It runs a 21st Century school at Saibabapath Mumbai Public School from Pre-K- 10, under the PP Policy of MCGM. We serve a tuition free English medium education to a 1000 children. Over a decade of schooling, educo has ensured the greatest opportunities for our students to leverage their talent and hardwork in areas of sports, education and extra-curriculars.
We have a 100% pass in the SSC exam year on year. In sports we are the city champions in the Milind Deora tournament.
We envision founding a lifetime of prosperity for our children and communities. In pursuance of our vision, our mission is to provide 21st century Education to underprivileged students; to prepare them for employable future opportunities, ensure dignity of work and nurture them as change agents of their communities.
To fulfil our mission, we work on 3 core focus areas – Holistic Child Development, Pedagogy & Teacher Development, and Community Engagement. Community engagement is a critical focus area to optimize the impact of our work. Active communication and engagement with the community allows us to ensure commitment of parents to our work that directly contributes to high attendance and better student performance.
Since the first lockdown the educo team via its empowered parent community have distributed 100 tonnes of rations in 16 rounds.
