During this year’s Joy of Giving Week, Mumbai First and Educo come together for children of Amchi Mumbai, with an extensive collection drive that will impact and support the communities in Lalbaug, Parel and Sewri. Acts of generosity from across the city and the country will contribute to the joy of learning. Spread smiles and play a responsible role for our children’s future.
Materials for collection include Story Books, reference textbooks for all subjects from Pre K to Grade 10 (for 3 years to 16 years of age), interactive learning books and other materials, workbooks and worksheets, unused notebooks and stationary, teaching materials – props, aids, experiment kits and models, reference books for teachers, E-teaching aids – tabs, subscriptions to sites or magazines, scholarship Magazines, periodicals, quarterly etc., Art & Craft Material, learning toys for students, computers, laptops, projectors, printers and networking equipment, audio visual equipment, musical instruments, sports material including sports shoes.
A dedicated team of community volunteers at the collection centre will mobilize and organize distribution of the materials at the school during the joy of giving week. Fair distribution of resources across the school will be ensured. Citizens are encouraged to personally drop off/ send the materials to the collection centre making suitable arrangements for logistics. The organizers will not be responsible for picking up said materials from various locations.
Mumbaikars are invited to participate in this collection drive for children aged 3 to 16 years. Share and contribute educational materials for young children during Daan Utsav 2021. Spread the word, spread smiles! Together, let’s make a difference.

About Educo
Educo is a public charitable trust established by Ms. Meenal Srinivasan in 2009. It runs a 21st Century school at Saibabapath Mumbai Public School from Pre-K- 10, under the PP Policy of MCGM. We serve a tuition free English medium education to a 1000 children. Over a decade of schooling, educo has ensured the greatest opportunities for our students to leverage their talent and hardwork in areas of sports, education and extra-curriculars.

Since the first lockdown the educo team via its empowered parent community have distributed 100 tonnes of rations in 16 rounds.
