Shiksha Daan

Daan Utsav was formerly known as The Joy of Giving Week. Celebrated every year from
October 2 to 8, during #DaanUtsav people perform acts of kindness by giving their time, material or money in interesting ways to any cause(s) they believe in. The COVID-19 pandemic has affected the lives of millions across the globe. The effects of the
crisis have been felt deeply, especially by vulnerable groups living on the fringes. Caught
amidst the socio-economic fallout of the disease and the all-pervasive sense of uncertainty and
anxiety, children face heightened threats to their safety and well-being. All through the COVID-19 crisis and the lockdown in India, Shiksha Seva Foundation, works
with uttermost determination that every girl child should get proper education and women
should get proper training that their life should enrich and blossom since 2012
Every rupee received in donation, every project sanctioned goes long way in reaching out to
girl child and women. Our major objective is to empower underprivileged girl child and women
in rural an urban through education, healthcare and train them in self-employed skill sets. We
work to provide and to enable environment with our partner schools to kindle the light of
education in each child. We are looking forward for providing appropriate teaching aid and
infrastructure facilities like libraries, health care and literacy promotion program.
