A group 50 volunteers will be divided into teams of 5 and sent to 10 schools and Anganwadis around the town. The students will check the condition of the toilets, get them cleaned if necessary. They will stock it up with hand soaps, buckets, mugs and cleaning supplies. Children will be educated on the need for sanitation and taught hand washing techniques. We intend to follow up with one volunteer weekly after the project for a month and then fortnightly thereafter.
