Unfortunately, most of the stories of premature newborns end even before they even get A shot at life. Families have abandoned babies with disabilities due to lack of prompt financial aid and medical conditions. But we believe that every child is different & deserves an equal chance at survival. India records about 3.6 million premature births each year. What’s disheartening is the fact that 3 lakh out of these, don’t make it. Today on Muskan’s first birthday, her parents reflect on the long journey here, that felt like ages.
