My name is Nikita Mistry, and I’m a part of the Pehlay Akshar Foundation, where our mission is to empower every child in India with English literacy and to develop a learning mindset.
The Joy of Giving Week is celebrated from October 1 through October 8; it is also well-known as “Daan Utsav” throughout India. This Daan Utsav, as an HR professional, you can engage your employees with Pehlay Akshar Foundation to set up donation boxes to gather books like storybooks, encyclopedias, informative books etc with children from grade 1 to 8 at your workplace, factory, warehouse, etc. These books will be distributed amongst children of BMC schools
