Let the Unprivileged Know that the World Cares
Daan Ustav -The joy of giving is celebrated every year from October 2 to 8. On the occasion of the upcoming DaanUtsav, Dept. of Pharmacy Practice, NGSM Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences a constituent college of Nitte (Deemed to be University), Mangaluru is hosting a program “Masoom Abhilasha-Let the unprivileged know that the world cares”. The program starts by visiting an orphanage, making the kids write their wishes and their wishes will be kept in a wish box or wish tree in the campus for 2-3 days, for the people in the campus to contribute for this program in monetary way or bringing the things wish listed and finally the kids will receive what they desire. In this regard, lets join our hands together to fulfil the honest wishes of the tiny hearts and help the ones in need. As Abraham Lincoln quoted – “In the end, it’s not the years in your life that counts. It’s the life in your years”. Let’s learn together the art of giving and celebrating the joy of helping and be the reason for someone’s smile.
